Our Ride

The Green Bastard – 1992 Toyota Pickup DLX V6 4×4 with about 490,000 kms on the clock. She is as stubborn as a mule but thank god so much prettier. TGB has been in my life for 7 years now and has had quite the list of half-life upgrades to prep her for this journey. I bought her from my oldest brother who drove her for 6 years before buying a 2008 Toyota Tacoma off the lot. My previous vehicles had all been domestics but after my first roadtrip behind the wheel, I was instantly converted to a Toyota faithful.

I have spent countless hours over the past 6 years wrenching, sweating, swearing and bleeding to get TGB where she is today. My partner Sophia even worked a 12 hour day with my installing the Toytec 2″ BJ spacer lift. In her words “if you cant’t beat em, Join em”

We need to give Ryan @ Disturbed Industries such a huge shout out as he completed most of this work. His OCD and attention to detail along with his extensive knowledge of all things Toyota are what really built the brick shithouse foundation of the Green Bastard. His tireless work ethic and love of Toyota are so evident in his approach to his work, it is clear that he loves what he does and is proud to stamp his name on what rolls out his shop door.
